So let me do a quick introduction of who I am. My name is Nikki LeClair and I write chicklit and cozy mysteries. I have recently released a cozy mystery series entitled The Edie Edwards Series, and the first book called Haunting Me won a Readers Favorite Silver Medal award this past year!
It's about a woman named Phoebe who gets run over by a hot dog cart and wakes up seeing a ghost. A snarky, obnoxious, wealthy ghost who needs Pheobe's help in saving her multi-million dollar company from the greedy hands of her ex-lawyer and ex-best friend. The only catch? That ex-lawyer just happens to be Phoebe's boss. Soon, Phoebe realizes juggling her hew ghost friend, hardly promising career, a wacky fiance and  romantic feelings for her ghost friends nephew, could be the end for her... (If you're interested just click the picture of the cover above to check it out on amazon!)
Now, onward to the giveaways!

I live in Canada, which is notorious for our winters and winter type activities. But for the last six or so years, we've had maybe only one or two snowstorms a year and our Christmases have been stark green. Now to me that is just grand because I hate winter. It's my least favorite season and my least favorite holiday...

Yet, I LOVE the Christmas feasts. Especially the Christmas Eve one I have with my family. I'm first generation Canadian, but my parents and grandparents all came from Poland. They are Catholic and stick to the tradition of only seafood on Christmas Eve, no meat whats so ever the day before Jesus's birth. But before the fried fish and fish salads (with mayo, its weird but oddly tasty), comes the starter. Which we only have once a year, on Christmas Eve, and is basically my favorite food in the entire world. It's called Borscht with  Uszka, which is beet soup with mushroom dumplings. I look forward to this dish ALL year, and my mom knows to make me extra broth and extra dumplings for the days after Christmas.
SO! For the chance to win a 10 dollar Amazon gift-card, please just let me know in the comments, what you're absolute favorite food for the season. I will draw the winner on Dec 24th and reach out to them....
Before you go, please check out Author Kate 'Okeefe's blog for your chance to enter to win a copy of her book, One Last Date. Just click the picture below to head over to her page and hop backwards from there to check out other blogs!

I absolutely love fudge. Last year I made a killer eggnog fudge and also peppermint fudge.
Merry Christmas!

My favorite holiday food would have to be tamales, as a Mexican American the winter season is the time for tamale making and tamale eating - it's definitely a tasty adventure all around :)

My favorite holiday food is pumpkin pie--Christmas or Thanksgiving. Pecan pie is a close second.

It's a toss up between my hubbies fudge or chocolate covered cherries. Happy Hollidays to you from Madison, Indiana, USA.
